
Team Uganda all vested in yellow and black shone at the opening ceremony in Dalian as the norm is before before kick off of any International School Federation Championship.
The Opening ceremony was witnessed 22.678 spectators at Dalian and more than 500.000 viewers through internet.

The ISF Football World Cup in China -2024 attracted an impressive number of 1350 participants.
Uganda is being represented by four teams; 3 in the boys category and one in the girls that is Bukedea Comprehensive School, St. Mary’s College Kisubi and Amus College School (boys and girls).
Further more, four Ugandan referees will be officiating at the schools world cup.

Tonny Kalairewo already tested the waters in China as he was fourth official in the opening match between China and Chile.

The other referees to be involved are Makanga Hazahal, Lydia Auma and Barbra Nayebare are who will all be in action on Sunday morning.
Makanga will be fourth official in a game between China and New Zealand while the other three will team up in a game between Serbia and Macao China alongside Chinese Zhang Lichuan who will be fourth official.
Meanwhile, in a bid to kick off on a high note the teams carried out training sessions earlier alone to have the feel and momentum in Dalian.
