ISF: Uganda 2 out, Uganda 1 final bound at the Schools World Cup -Dalian

Amus College School (Uganda 1) beat Bukedea Comprehensive School (Uganda 2) 4-2 in penalties after playing out a goalless draw. Amus College will play China in the boys football final.

The ISF Football World Cup -Dalian China witnessed a very tense, end to end action packed clash “Teso Derby in the foreign Land”

With either team well stocked with quality players and coaches, the tactical battles were eye catching. Both teams played out a goalless draw with none coming close to taking a stride into the final in normal time.

Amus College starting eleven

A Penalty shoot out was the savior of the day. Amus shotstopper Ben Sinalya was up to the task as he saved the first two spotkicks of Bukedea Comprehensive School.

Elvis Ssekajugo and Ssekibengo Godfrey missed penalties for Bukedea while Amus captain Toto Majub scored the final penalty to send Amus into the final.

Amus College School who lost the Boys Football Final in Masaka earlier this month will hope to win their first major trophy this year and the first one as well for team Uganda.

Meanwhile Amus College School girls team lost 2-0 to England in the classification matches whereas Uganda 3 (St. Mary’s College Kisubi) lost 2-4 against Taipei China. Amus will play for 7/8th place while SMACK will play for 31/32rd place.
