ISF: Uganda off to a flying start in Dalian.

Matchday one was a very great outing for Ugandan teams.
Bukedea Comprehensive School secured a 6-0 victory over Turkimenistan as Amus College School (boys) won 7-2 against Taipei China while the girls’ side won 3-2 against Nigeria. St. Mary’s College Kisubi lost 2-6 to New Zealand

From each group only the top team qualifies for the next round.

“It is not the first time we are playing in this School’s world cup. We came (to Morocco) last year and it didn’t work out. We know we have to win our second game because from every group they take one team!

Scoring goals? No problem

Team Uganda enjoyed hitting the back of the net at the opposite end of the pitch having scored 18 goals in the the first 4 games.

Can team Uganda deliver a maiden World Cup title? This can only be answered after the next round of matches although the early signs are very promising.
