





The second edition of the USSSA Building Training has officially kicked off at Kibuli Secondary School.
The first Edition held in December 2022 had the training held in 5 different venues namely Kibuli SS (Football, Athletics, Volleyball, Netball, Media, Basketball and Handball) while Mbarara High School, Amus College Bukedea and Dr Obote College Lira hosted the football coaching and refereeing participants. The January training had given a chance to those who unable to attend the previous training to be part of this training.
Talent identification needs to start early because we have the teachers who are working within the schools, we are also very happy that it has taken off

The training has brought together over 300 participants in the disciplines of football, volleyball, netball, athletics, handball, basketball and media. The beginner training is being conducted by certified coaches and instructors.
The instructors include Fred Mugerwa Tabale, Netball Coach, Charles Mukiibi, Kavuma Lawrence are athletics coaches, Peter Fredrick Kirabo a FIBA referee instructor, Ahmed Hussein Head of Communications FUFA, Nicholas Natuhereza a Basketball to mention but a few.










Most of our villages are similar in the way people behave, take it upon yourself to be the person to make a change with the skills gained here. We must ensure that we practice everything we have learnt here

The training that started on 28th January 2023 will go on until the 3rd of February 2023 is looking to equip 10000 participants across the country in the next 4 years.
