Ahead of the Kabaka Birthday Run slated for Sunday, 6th April, 2025, Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) joined Buganda Kingdom for the cause by purchasing running kits worth one million Ugandan shillings for this year’s edition.
The Minister for Youths and Sports of Buganda, Oweek. Robert Serwanga handed the kits to USSSA team led by Director Communications, Marketing and ICT Omaria Bosco.
While handing over the kits, the Minister appreciated the efforts of USSSA in running school sports especially the just concluded Buganda School Sports Competitions -2025 at Kawanda SS on top of supporting programs of Buganda Kingdom.
“USSSA is doing a lot in terms of identifying and promoting talents of our young athletes at all levels. I would like to commend the job well done and also coming up to support activities of Buganda at large. We promise to continue working together and even better after this.”
