Kawempe Muslim SS sidelines Uganda Martyrs to book semi final Slot.

Overview

Kawempe Muslim and Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga played out a goalless draw in regular time. Uganda Martyrs captain Immaculate Nakanjako missed the first penalty while Kawempe were inch perfect to outshoot the Lubaga based school.

The first half was an intense and action-packed one, with neither team able to score, ending in a goalless draw. The second half was equally thrilling, with both teams creating scoring opportunities but failing to capitalize, resulting in another goalless encounter which was great for the neutrals.

With the score still deadlocked at 0-0 after full-time, the match went to penalties. Kawempe Muslim High School showed their prowess, converting all five of their penalties to win 5-3 and advance to the semifinals.

“Although we lost Kawempe Muslim S.S, I hope that we did our best. I thank my team and our coaches for the efforts and I ask them not to give up because we have other games to play, next time better. “
