Greenlight beat Highfield HS 4-0 thanks to an Okello Morris brace, Okwi Simon Peter and Wodeya Denis hits to storm the final. A Bany Kuiy Tap strike was all it took to shoot London College to the final.
The mouthwatering final took centre stage at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Ssemanda Collin struck in the second minute of the game to hand London College the lead before Owen Lubega netted a brace for a comfortable 3-0 lead heading to half time.
Moses Ecurn pulled one back for Greenlight ten minutes into the second stanza to sow a comeback spirit in the game. He later added a second in the 85th minute although it wasn’t enough to get the back to level terms.
London College took the day and therefore are 2024 super 4 Nansana sub zone champions played at the official launch of the Weekend league.
The Super 4 final was officiated by capacity building graduates and were rewarded by USSSA president Justus Mugisha with free upgrade courses in December at Lubiri SS.
