The Masindi District Athletics qualifiers have come to a successful end, marking a remarkable achievement for participating schools. The one-day event saw over 12 schools gather to showcase their athletic prowess. The participating schools included Masindi Army, Masindi SS, Jordan Pride, St Theresa, Ikoba Girl’s, Green Valley, Bwijanga SS, Christian High, St. Paul’s SS, Kiyuya Seed, Excel High, and Kabalega SS.
A range of track and field events were contested, including 5000M, 3000M, 1500M, 800M, 400M, 200M, 100M, Discus, Shot put, Javelin, High Jump, Triple Jump, Long Jump, and relays. After a fiercely competitive day, Masindi Army Secondary School emerged victorious, defending their title in both boys’ and girls’ general performance.
