Both teams commenced their campaign with a 2-0 defeat against TDS, who have already secured a spot in the final. Tomorrow’s game is a high-stakes encounter for David Baale’s side, as they strive to finish the group stage as runners-up and vie for third place.
JKT Queens from Tanzania have also booked their place in the final and will face fellow Tanzanians, TDS.
Following their last training today, Head Coach David Baale exudes optimism ahead of tomorrow’s game, expressing confidence that the girls will rise to the challenge. “All players are fit and ready for tomorrow’s game. We aim to bolster our attacking line to score crucial goals.” Baale stated.
The coach acknowledges the defensive lapses made in the first game and asserts that they are working diligently to rectify them. “We made defensive mistakes and conceded, but we have addressed these issues and are prepared to defend with greater solidity tomorrow,” Baale added.
The coach further elucidates tomorrow’s game plan. “In our first game, we were overly defensive, and tomorrow we plan to deploy a more attacking formation to alleviate our goal-scoring drought,” Baale concluded.
After their title aspirations were dashed, the team is now focused on winning tomorrow’s game, finishing the group stage as runners-up, and competing for the bronze medal.
