

Mbarara High lifted the hockey trophy for the first time. The bulls defeated arch rivals the lions of Ntare School 2-0.

Ntare High also gave their best like every sports man or woman does but luck wasn’t on their side. Ntare School’s captain Asiimwe Noel assured to seek revenge if they encounter Mbarara at the upcoming FEASSA championship in Kenya later this year.
FEASSA Defending champions Kakungulu Memorial finished 3rd to their relief.
Kakungulu Memorial School defeated St. Charles Lwanga Kasasa 1-0 to lift the hockey trophy in Bukedea, USSSA Ball games 1.
Kakungulu didn’t appear too excited for the win and according to their captain Alimo Jolly Roy winning this trophy was the only thing expected of them.
“We already expected the victory so I have less to say.” The team also attributes their win to the training they attained from their coach Okello Martin.
St Charles Lwanga Kasasa’s team efforts cannot be underestimated, these girls tried real hard hence Kakungulu scoring only one goal.
“We didn’t manage to win this time though we are grateful for the opportunity to qualify and play the final game this year”. Kasasa’ Captain .
