MPIGI ZONE CONCLUDES BALL GAMES II QUALIFIERS.

Mpigi zone finalized all their games for the upcoming Ball games II on 27th June 2024 at St. Joseph of Nazareth in Mpigi district. The disciplines that were competed for on the final day included athletics, basketball 3×3, beach soccer and Dance Sport.

Volleyball, netball and football all in the under 16 categories were played earlier at Bukandula Mixed and Kabulasoke PTC in Gomba district.

Royal Giant High School Mityana scored two unanswered goals against Kisozi Seed School to lift the boys’ football trophy while Highway SS Kiganda in Mubende were the girls’ champions.

The schools that competed in Netball included Ssingo SS, Kyasanku Hill College, Shammah High, Wamatovu Muslim, Bageza Seed, St. Thereza Kungu, St. Balikuddembe Mitala Maria, Kibibi Standard SS, Mpigi Light College, Kibibi Standard SS and Ngando SS who lifted the girls’ trophy at the end of the day.

Mpigi Zone is made of up Mubende, Butamabala, Gomba, Mityana, Kasanda and Mpigi districts.

The FEASSSA qualifiers will be played at Teso College Aloet 9-18th July 2024 while the Non-FEASSSA qualifiers will take place during the second term holiday from 1st to 9th September at the same venue.
