St. Julian High School, the reigning champion, is set to defend its title in the U20 national championship. The school has previously consistently showcased its football prowess in various tournaments. Here’s a closer look at the team:

St. Julian High School was founded in 2009, starting with the Gayaza Campus before expanding to the Seeta Lumuli campus.
Previous Performance
In 2023, the school’s U16 boys football team had a remarkable run, winning the Mukono Zone U16 title. They also participated in the national ball games championship in Kabale, where they narrowly lost to Buddo SS in the semifinals via penalty shootouts after a goalless draw.
Having failed to test the national glory through the main campus, St Julian High School Seeta Campus made a historic debut winning it’s first ever national boys football championship.
The title followed a masterclass performance showcased by the young talented family in Masaka. For starters, St Julian High School players are go through Ray’s of Grace Academy and Rays of Grace Primary School a well structured foundation that has produced several fine talents in schools football.
St Julian overcame Teso Giants, Bukedea Comprehensive School and Amus College on semi finals and finals respectively to win the 2024 title in Masaka
The team did a light work against the later East African Champions Amus College with a rare score in the final 3-0. James Ssekate bagged a brace before Simon Wanyama iced the historic win while Amus Captain by then Brian Toto Majub was sent off for an intentional handball in the box an incident that created the third goal.
