No more free player movements for students on bursary as online registration opens.

The guidelines and screening procedures revealed for the year 2024 during the press conference held on 1^st February ,2024 at GNS Plaza, Old Kampala.

Normal online registration opened on 1st January 2024 and will close on 29th February 202

There will be special registration to be done at National level starting on the 1^st of March 2024 to 15th March 2024 for any player who has not been enrolled (free agents) by the 29^th of February 2023.

Schools are required to submit (by registering) all their players that they intend to play during the various sports activities whether on sports bursaries or not so that they are not encroached by other schools. However, if two or more schools are having disputes over a player there is a committee at USSSA ready to guide them. Any complaints should be put in writing and addressed to the Mugisha Christopher, the Chief Executive Officer, USSSA.

“Player transfer guidelines have also been put in place, players who are on bursary can only move from one school to another with the consent of the former school and players not on bursary may move freely” President Justus Mugisha

Online registration guidelines

• The registration opened on 1st January and will close on 15th March 2024.

• Any player who has not been enrolled will become a free agent after the 29th of February 2024.

• Special registration to be done at National level.

• Only players dully registered will be allowed to take part in USSSA competitions.

• Every student should be registered using his or her Learner Identification Number (LIN).

• School albums of registered players will be released by the secretariat to the district before kickoff of qualifiers.
