It is with great honour and pride that I welcome you to the 21st edition of the FEASSSA Games, hosted by Uganda for a record seventh time. This milestone event will take place at two prestigious venues: Bukedea Comprehensive School and Amus College School in Bukedea District.
For the first time, our games will be held in brand-new, state-of-the-art sports facilities, purposely built to provide an exceptional experience for athletes and spectators alike. These include:
- A 10,000-seater capacity stadium
- A 4,000-capacity indoor arena
- A semi-olympic size swimming pool at Bukedea Comprehensive School
- A stadium with a running track, artificial turf ground, four standard football pitches, and three world-class basketball courts at Amus College
In addition, we have upgraded accommodation facilities at both schools to ensure a comfortable stay for all participants. Officials will be accommodated in Mbale city hotels. Mbale city will also host some games.

But the FEASSSA Games are more than just a sporting event. We are committed to the holistic development of our young athletes. Therefore, this year’s edition will feature:
- A safeguarding course for all athletes to ensure their well-being and safety
- A symposium on improving the management of school sports in the region, bringing together experts and stakeholders to share, knowledge, and best practices
- A free day for tourism and cultural exchange, allowing participants to experience the beauty and diversity of Uganda
I am delighted to confirm that all member states, except South Sudan, will participate in these games, making it a truly regional celebration of sportsmanship and friendship. The games will be graced by the presence of Uganda’s Head of State HE .YKM and Laurent Petrynka the President of the International School Sport Federation (ISF).
We promise to make these games the best-organized ever, with improvements in all areas, especially in the use of technology. I extend my gratitude to the organizers, sponsors, and partners who have worked tirelessly to make this event a success.
