St Noa girls beat Kenyan side Butere Girls 1-0 in the final to reclaim the title which they had last won in Arusha, Tanzania in 2022.
Sylvia Kabene’s lonely goal was enough for the Zzana based side to clinch their second ever FEASSA trophy.
In the 25th minute the electric winger was brought down in the forbidden area and was brave enough to strike the ball into the back of the net.
In the second half, the visitors came close to leveling the score several times but Lilian Nakiirya and her defense were so lively.
Coming into the championship, Uganda’s Kawempe Muslim Secondary School was the defending champion but couldn’t go past this year’s group stages.
Uganda’s Amus finished fourth after losing to Nyakach Girls 7-8 in penalties after a two all draw in the third place play off.
