The Rwenzori Zonal Qualifiers 2025 have come to a thrilling conclusion, with FortPortal Sec School and King of Kings emerging as the champions of the boys’ and girls’ football categories, respectively.

In the boys’ category, FortPortal SS defended their title in a nail-biting penalty shootout against Garama Sec School. The game had ended 1-1 in full time, setting the stage for a tense penalty shootout. FortPortal SS ultimately emerged victorious, winning 5-4 against their opponents.

In the girls’ category, King of Kings was crowned the champion after a 1-0 win against Moon Ville in full time. This victory showcases the team’s skills and determination, and they will now represent the Rwenzori Zone at the BallGames 2 tournament in Bukedea Comprehensive School, alongside Moon Ville and Buhesi Sec Sch.
