The Bunyoro Zonal Qualifiers 2025 came to a dramatic conclusion yesterday, April 13th, at Duhaga Secondary School in Hoima City. The Eagerly awaited final match between Kabalega Secondary School and Masindi SS was a thrilling encounter that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
In a rematch of the district title, which Kabalega SS had won 1:0 in Masindi, Masindi SS got their revenge in the zonal qualifiers. After a 1:1 draw in full time, Masindi SS emerged victorious in the penalty shootout, winning 5:4.
This win marks a historic moment for Masindi SS, as they secure their first-ever spot at the national championship. Meanwhile, Kabalega SS, despite their loss, will still represent Bunyoro Zone in Ngora, alongside Masindi SS and Panyadoli SS.
