Currently underway at Ngora High School in Ngora District, this program has drawn a total of 82 participants, comprising 49 football refereeing trainees and 33 football coaching trainees Experienced instructors are leading the training, Erebu John Michael is responsible for football coaching, and Joseph Ochom is responsible for football refereeing.
Participants hail from various districts across the region, including Soroti, Serere, Bukedea, Tororo, Mbale, Kumi, and Ngora, reflecting strong regional enthusiasm and involvement in sports development.
Godliver Apolot, the USSSA Executive Committee member overseeing the Ngora High School training center, emphasized the importance of the program in nurturing local talent. She highlighted that this initiative plays a critical role in preparing referees and coaches for future sports events, fostering both individual growth and regional sporting excellence.
