The CAF GIFT attracted eight teams and were grouped into two. Boni Consili Girls’ Vocational SS was placed in Group B alongside TDS Girls Academy (Tanzania), Hilaad FC (Somalia), and Angle Noir FC (Burundi).
CAF has released a new fixture following a withdrawal of Hilaad FC (Somalia ) from the tournament which means group B remains with 3 teams . There is also a change in time for Boni Consilli’s game from 3 PM to 6.00 PM.
Meanwhile In Group A, there is JKT Queens (Tanzania), Bahir Dar Kenema FC (Ethiopia), KAS Academy (Kenya), and City Light (South Sudan).

Coach’s thoughts on the game
Head Coach David Bbale emphasized the need to win their first game in order to create a healthy gap for the team in their quest to get the trophy home.
“All players are in a good condition. We are set and want to win our first game so that we put a gap away from the other teams.”
Boni Consilli’s game will be match number three of the championship having seen JKT Queens put Kenya Academy of Sports team to the sword with a 3-0 drubbing.
This victory gives JKT an early lead in group A. Therefore it will be a crucial game for Team Uganda in as far as highlighting their potential at the championship.
