The USSSA Lango zonal qualifiers for athletics kicked off today at Doctor Obote College in Lira City.
Events that dominated the day were 100M semi-finals both boys and girls, 800M finals both boys and girls, High jump girls, triple jump boys, javelin girls, shotput boys, 4×100 finals boy and girls, long medley relay boys and girls, high jump boys, 5000M boys.
The rest of the events will be competed for tomorrow and will mark the end of the tournament.
