Following recent transfers of school administrators by the Ministry of Education and Sports, some Zonal and District positions have remained vacant and occupied by those in acting positions. To that note, USSSA has released the program for the by-elections to fill these vacant slots across the country.
The Association has communicated February 29 as the deadline to declare all vacant positions to enable the returning officer to organize elections to fill the vacant positions.
The letter signed off by Mugisha Christopher Banage (USSSA CEO) clearly states that some positions became vacant because of the recent transfer of headteachers and teachers by the Ministry of Education and Sports.
