USSSA Qualifiers: Lango Zone qualifiers kick off in high gear.

The USSSA Lango Zone qualifiers kicked off on Wednesday 11th April at Apac Secondary school in Apac district. A total of 22 teams reported for this year’s edition with over 500 participants.

Last year’s finalists Dokolo progressive and Akii Bua Comprehensive SS have been grouped together with the Lira City champion Mentor SS to complete group D.

The championship will run for five days from 10th to 14th April 2024. In the championship’s opener Mentor S.S defeated Aki Bua Comprehensive 3-1 whereas King of Kings beat defending champion Dokolo Progressive by a goal to nil.

Amolator SS have the most threatening striking force in the tournament so far having chipped in 7 goals and conceded only two in two matches.
