WestNile Zone Kicks Off Historic USSSA Capacity Building Program

WestNile zone has officially launched its inaugural USSSA Capacity Building program at Mvara Secondary School in the heart of Arua city. The highly anticipated event has brought together participants from various districts within WestNile and beyond, all united by their passion for sports. By press time a total of 80 participants had reported and more still reporting.

The program, which will run until Friday, 17th, aims to equip students, games teachers, and sportsmen with essential skills in coaching, refereeing, and media. Participants have the unique opportunity to engage in either football coaching or refereeing, under the guidance of experienced instructors.

The initiative has been met with widespread enthusiasm, with many expressing their excitement about the prospect of acquiring new skills and knowledge. The program’s organizers are confident that this Capacity Building program will have a lasting impact on the development of sports in the region.

Upon completion of the program, participants will be awarded certificates of participation and certificates of merit from the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA). This recognition is expected to not only motivate the participants but also serve as a testament to their hard work and dedication.

As the program unfolds, it is clear that the WestNile zone is poised to make significant strides in the world of school sports. With the USSSA Capacity Building program leading the charge, the future of sports in the region looks brighter than ever.
