The only athletes that will compete for the school will be those that constitute the district team Maximum district contingent will be 25 girls, 25 boys.
The scoring distribution, zonal qualification and those to receive the trophies have all been clearly indicated.
The games will be from 10th-19th July 2025 at St. Peters College Tororo.
Below is the Revised Format and scoring system for athletics 2025.
- Scoring System: Individual Disciplines: Athletes competing in individual disciplines will score points for their schools, districts, and
zones. Relays: Relay events will only contribute points to the district and zone, as they involve athletes from multiple schools. - Zonal Teams:
The zone will collect all the points earned by athletes coming from the district that constitute that zone.
The points will be earned from individual competitions and not collective/relays
The zones will compete in relays (different from the district relays) and the team composition will be made from a
selection of athletes coming from the districts in that zone.
NB: – The selection of the Zonal Relay Team may be done during competitions in the individual races. - Scoring Distribution
To summarize the scoring distribution:
Schools: The school will earn all the points won by its students in individual races.
Districts: Points will be earned from individual athlete performances and relay events.
Zones: Will earn all the points won by athletes coming from the districts that constitute that zone.The zone will also earn points won by its relay teams.
