Kabalega Secondary School secured a spot in the round of 16 after edging Welden Secondary School 4-3 in a penalty shootout.
After a goalless draw in normal time, Kabalega SS held their nerves and secured a much-deserved victory on the day.
Kabalega SS, located in the Bunyoro Zone is making waves in the ongoing 2024 USSSA National Games after managing to be part of the last 16.
With the gaffer Ali at the helm, the boys have shown great determination and their style of play has gained them several fans each time they step on the green.
One of the factors contributing to the success of the team has been the tremendous support and guidance of the old boys of Kabalega SS under the umbrella known as KASSOBA (Kabalega Secondary School Old Boys Association).
KASSOBA has been instrumental in promoting sports in the school by providing the necessary resources for the team to excel.
Attention shifts to the round of 16
Kabalega SS will now shift to the round of 16 where they will face Jinja Progressive today Thursday, May 2 at the Sports Arena, Kitovu.
