The search for the National Boys Football champion 2024 in Masaka has edged closer as the 64 teams in contest have been halved.
The group games ended on 30th April 2024 with the final game being a clash between host Masaka SS and Andy Mwesigwa which was played after the official opening ceremony.
Masaka SS salvaged a point to book a date with neighbours St. Henry’s College Kitovu at the round of 32.
Elsewhere, Jinja Progressive Academy beat Koch SS earlier in a game played at Kitovu 1 ground to come out of their group invicible having won three in as many games.
The round of 32 kick-starts on 1st May with defending champions St. Mary’s Boarding School Kitende battling with St. Charles Lwanga Kasasa at 9:00 at Masaka recreation grounds.
Buddo SS will meet Bukedea Comprehensive at the round of 32 having beaten Kakungulu Memorial School 3-0 in their last group encounter.
