The USSSA Online Registration Portal is now open to all Ministry of Education and Sports–registered secondary schools.
Schools with existing portal accounts are required to log in and complete student enrollment and registration by 27th March 2026. Schools whose Account Handlers may have forgotten or misplaced their login credentials can reset their passwords through the USSSA website. Schools that do not yet have portal accounts are encouraged to register on the platform to create one.
Registration on the portal is free of charge. However, an annual student enrollment fee of UGX 3,000 applies per student.
Student Eligibility
Registration is open to students who sat Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) from 2019 to date and meet the following requirements:
- O-Level students: PLE Index Number
- A-Level students: PLE and UCE Index Numbers (including year of sitting)
- Learner Identification Number (LIN) is mandatory for all students
Only athletes born between 1st January 2006 and 31st December 2012 are eligible for registration.
Student Transfers
The receiving school must initiate student transfers through the USSSA portal at a fee of UGX 10,000 per student. Transfers will only be processed upon:
- Approval by the former school
- Submission of a signed transfer form
- A passport-size photograph
- Relevant academic documents, including:
- Pass slips
- Recommendation letter
- UNEB equated results (where applicable)
- Verification letter
Editing Student Information
Editing of student details is conducted exclusively online through the USSSA portal at a fee of UGX 50,000 per field.
To request an edit:
- Log in to the school portal
- Select the registered athlete
- Click on the specific field to be edited on the athlete’s profile
- Enter the correct information
- Add a supporting document for the field edited
- Submit the edit request for processing
Schools are advised to ensure that all student details are accurate at the point of registration to avoid unnecessary editing costs and delays.
