The seventh edition of the Elite Secondary School Championships is scheduled to take place at Janan SS, Bombo campus, from 13th to 16th February 2026.
The Championship brings together the top 8 schools per discipline competing in at the 2025 National Championship.
The disciplines include football, Volleyball, basketball 5×5, basketball, 3×3, Rugby 7s,handball and netball.
All the disciplines are for both boys and girls except for netball, which will be for girls only. The championship is invitational to qualified schools, and only bona fide students as per the 2025/2026 general rules and regulations will clear to participate.
There is a registration timeliness as well as room for replacement of schools.
Financial requirements:
- Participation fees 300,000 Uganda shillings per team.
- Online registration is 3,000 shillings per participant
- Accreditation 5000 pre participant.
- Feeding and accommodation 15000 shillings per day for each athlete and official for 3days.
The previous Championship was held at St. Joseph of Nazareth, Kavule, Mpigi, in February 2025.
