The USSSA Ball Games I 2026 were officially opened at a ceremony that took place at Seroma Christian High School newly constructed stadium.

At the event, USSSA 3rd Vice president Harriet Margaret Apolot also National Organising Chairperson addressed a congregation of students, games teachers, officials and other distinguished guests who gathered for the grand opening ceremony.
In her speech, she expressed loads of gratitude to all parties that joined hands to ensure a very successful championship. From the Ministry, the schools’ management, Mukono community and athletes.
“At this year’s edition we have 428 teams that have went through advancing vigorous qualification rounds from district to the zones and finally made it here at the National stage.”
Verification and screening has been held to ensure we have only bonafide students participating at these games.
