Vacant positions from 22 districts across 9 zones have been declared via a letter published by the Returning officer, Opio Joseph Ekodeu.
These zones include Acholi, Bugisu, Bunyoro, Masaka, Mpigi, Rwenzori, Sebei, Teso and West Nile.
The various positions have been deemed Vacant on various grounds ranging from retirement, transfers, change of district, no elections held, taking up new positions and resignation.
The legible candidates have been called upon to pick nominations as per USSSA Bye-elections guidelines 2022/2026 for whose road map will be published in the due course.
For the districts yet to declare positions Vacant, 13th February was set as the deadline.
