Speaking on behalf of the USSSA President, Mr. Justus Mugisha, Ms. Harriet Apolot the first Vice President USSSA thanked members for their continued confidence and support following the leadership’s re-election. She encouraged team members and officials to seek assistance whenever they encountered challenges and to remain united throughout the championship.
In her remarks, she said:
“Do not wait until it is too late to seek help if you are facing any challenges. Reach out to those who can support you so that we leave here united as one team. I thank you all for sparing your time to attend this meeting. I wish you a safe journey to Tanzania and pray that God grants us success during the championship. For God and My Country; for school sports, for better.”

During the meeting, members were taken through the key activities, deadlines, travel arrangements, payment requirements, team confirmation process, and preparations leading up to the championship in Morogoro, Tanzania.
The Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Christopher Banage, urged all stakeholders to work together and adhere to every deadline to ensure Team Uganda’s successful participation in the FEASSA Games.
In his remarks, he said:
“I welcome you all to this final FEASSA preparatory meeting and thank you for honoring our invitation. Our priority is to ensure a safe, organized, and successful journey to the FEASSA Games. Every team must comply with the travel guidelines and complete all registration and accreditation requirements. By working together and following the established procedures, we will guarantee a smooth and successful participation for Team Uganda. The draws will take place on 6 August at the USSSA National Offices.”

“As we prepare for the FEASSA Games, I urge all participants to remain disciplined, uphold professionalism, and represent Uganda with pride. Team leaders must ensure that all travel and health requirements are met, enforce the prescribed dress code, and keep students free from drugs. Let us work together to uphold the values of Team Uganda and strive for excellence both on and off the field. Let us continue working together as Ugandans because, when we succeed, we uplift our country. I wish you a safe journey to Tanzania and pray that God grants us success during the championship.”
