Strengthening Technical Administration in School Sports
The Technical Commission plays an important role in supporting the technical organisation and development of sports within the USSSA framework. Effective technical structures are essential to the administration of competitions, the application of sporting rules and regulations, and the development of school sports talent.
Through its nationwide competitions and talent development programmes, USSSA provides a platform for learners to participate in organised sport, develop their abilities and progress towards higher levels of competition.
The establishment of technical structures across different disciplines is therefore an important component of the Association’s broader efforts to strengthen the administration and delivery of secondary school sports.
Applicants Listed Across Multiple Disciplines
The published document identifies individuals applying for chairperson and member positions in the various disciplines. It also indicates their respective districts, providing an overview of the geographical spread of those seeking to contribute to the Association’s technical work.
The publication is a listing of applicants for the 2026/2027 term. It should not be interpreted as confirmation of final appointments to the Technical Commission.
Further information regarding the outcome of the application process and the constitution of the Technical Commission will be communicated through the Association’s official channels as appropriate.
USSSA remains committed to promoting organised school sports and strengthening the technical systems that support the identification, nurturing, development and promotion of sporting talent in Uganda.
