The tournament, earlier halted due to Uganda’s youth national teams’ participation in CAF U17 and U20 competitions, now resumes with renewed intensity as four schools battle for supremacy.

USSSA elections will take place on specific dates in July to August all the way from district, zonal and finally National level on 1st August 2026.

The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association Athletics rules and regulations will give
standardized rules and regulations for all organized Athletics Competition. All matters related to
Athletics Competitions will be conducted in a free, fair and orderly manner.

The final programmes for the various district and zonal qualifiers ahead of the upcoming National Ball games II, mind games and athletics that will take place at Sacred Heart SS in Gulu city have been released.

USSSA will be launching the USSSA Weekend Beach Soccer League (boys and girls) this Sunday, 7th June 2026.

Previously Primary schools (at FEASSA) have been participating in four disciplines, namely football, netball, volleyball and athletics. There has now been an increment to seven disciplines.

The USSSA Zone Weekend League is an initiative aimed at promoting continuous participation in sports among schools through organized weekend competitions and capacity building programs.

The National Ball Games II/Athletics and mind games are scheduled for 7th July to 18th July 2026 at Sacred Heart SS Gulu.
