Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium at WAKISSHA Resource center will host the Grand Finale as USSSA U20 Girls Football Championship Returns.
After a postponement was made to allow a few players take part on the National team against Ghana U17 in May, the 2026 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ball Games I U20 Girls Football Championship reaches its climax this week at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso District.
The tournament, earlier halted due to Uganda’s youth national teams’ participation in CAF U17 and U20 competitions, now resumes with renewed intensity as four schools battle for supremacy.
Thursday, 2nd July, delivers a thrilling semi-final lineup. St. Noa Girls Secondary School face Boni Consilii Girls Vocational School at 1:00 pm, followed by Amus College School against Rines Secondary School at 3:00 pm.
The decisive day is Friday, 3rd July. The third-place playoff begins at 9:00 am, setting the stage for the final showdown at 11:00 am.
By 2:00PM, a new champion will emerge, claiming the coveted national schools crown and bringing the long-awaited championship to a fitting close.
The team qualified for 2026 FEASSA games that will take place this August in Morogoro, Tanzania.
