Nansana sports district of Wakiso zone launched the third edition of the USSSA Weekend League on Sunday 28th July, 2026.
The event was held at Alliance High School Nansana with two games played on match day one of the competition.
The event was graced by CEO Christopher Mugisha accompanied by Omaria Bosco, director Marketing, Communications and IT.
At the event, Mugisha applauded the leadership for consistently driving the idea of weekend leagues and being the firdt to implement it and requested stakeholders to support it.

Weekend league started with only boys football but the third edition has seen girls football debut into the competition.
Alliance High School put eight past Raphael Future Bells in a game that they dominated to the brim.
Alliance scored three inside nine minutes, and saved a thwarting for the second half.
In the boys category, London College edged Oxford High School by a goal to nil to seal victory on opening day.
