Hajji Kiteezaala addresses team Uganda ahead of their opener versus Zimbabwe

First Vice president and leader of delegation Hajji Twahil Kiteezaala has cautioned the players of team Uganda ahead of their opener at the CAF Africa Schools Football Tournament.

The Vice President addressed the players during a meeting held in the evening on Easter Sunday at Cresta Jameson hotel in Harare,Zimbabwe where the team is residing.

The team made up of 20 players was reminded that they are not only representing Uganda the country but also the CECAFA region.

Tanzania is the other representative from the CECAFA region because the boys are defending champions.

St. Mary’s Kitende qualified as the National champions when they defeated Amus College during the National Ball Games II at St. Peter’s College Tororo in August 2025 and later as regional CECAFA Champions after defeating Ethiopia in December 2025 at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende in Uganda.
