The USSSA U17 Girls National BallGames II continued with another exciting round of football action as schools battled for crucial points in the race for qualification and the championship title.
Kibingo Girls Secondary were among the biggest winners of the day after registering a convincing 4-0 victory over Trinity College Nabbingo. Kibingo showed great attacking intent and composure throughout the match, making their dominance count with four goals.
St. Mary’s Assumpta Girls produced a similar performance, securing a comfortable 4-0 win against Kashenshero Girls SS. The side controlled the game from the start and delivered a statement performance against their opponents.
Kawempe Muslim Secondary also recorded an impressive result, defeating Bweranyangi Girls 3-0 in a well-disciplined display. Their strong organisation and clinical finishing helped them secure all three points.
Tororo Girls continued their positive campaign with a 2-0 victory over Nakanyonyi SS, while Kashenshero Girls SS responded strongly with a 3-0 win against Kashenyi SS.
In the closely contested matches, Panyadoli Self Help edged Giant SS Bukinda 1-0, and Bwizi SS secured a narrow 1-0 victory over St. Catherine Girls Kazo. Highway SS Kiganda fought hard to overcome Kongunga High School 2-1 in an entertaining encounter, while Kiryandongo High School and Butiiru Christian played out a 1-1 draw.
Mt. Zion H/S also picked up maximum points after a hard-fought 1-0 win over Wampeewo Ntake SS.
