St. Peter’s College Tororo Goes Perfect as Muzza HS and Tororo Girls Dominate
The lacrosse competition at the USSSA Ball Games II National Championship in Gulu delivered another thrilling day of action on Matchday 5, with commanding victories and crucial wins shaping the race for the knockout stages.
In the girls’ competition, Muzza High School produced a clinical attacking display to defeat Empower International Academy 15-7. Tororo Girls School followed with the biggest win of the day, dismantling Trinity College Nabbingo 26-2 in a dominant performance from start to finish.
The boys’ category saw Bombo Army Secondary School overpower Empower International Academy 15-1 to register an emphatic victory. St. Peter’s College Tororo emerged as the standout side of the day, claiming two important wins. They first defeated Lumino High School 19-8 before edging Kigezi High School 9-7 in a closely fought contest to complete a perfect Matchday 5.
With every result carrying significant weight, the battle for places in the knockout rounds continues to intensify as the national championship enters its decisive phase.
