Panyadoli Self Help SS Reaches Baseball and Softball Finals
The baseball and softball semi-finals were played today at Gulu Public School during the USSSA Ball Games II in Gulu. Schools continued to compete to reach finals. Players showed teamwork as they looked forward to extending their stay in the tournament.
In the baseball semi-finals, St. Peter’s SS secured a place in the final after defeating Dr. Obote SS 14-4. Panyadoli Self Help SS also advanced with a 14-1 win over St. John’s SS Wakitaka. Panyadoli Self Help SS continued to defend with a 2-0 win over St. John’s SS Wakitaka before beating St. Cyprian Kyabakadde 2-0.
In the softball semi-final, Panyadoli Self Help SS defeated St. Katherine SS 14-2 as they booked a place in the final. The team completed another strong day by reaching the finals in both competitions.
In Baseball, St. Peter’s SS 14-4 Dr. Obote SS, St. John’s SS Wakitaka 1-14 Panyadoli Self Help SS, Panyadoli Self Help SS 2-0 St. John’s SS Wakitaka, Panyadoli Self Help SS 2-0 St. Cyprian Kyabakadde.
Softball: Panyadoli Self Help SS 14-2 St. Katherine SS.
All games left spectators curious about what is coming tomorrow, attention will turn to the finals as the remaining teams battle for the baseball and softball championship titles.
