Draws for the 7th edition of the Elite Games were held today at USSSA Head offices at GNS Plaza, Old Kampala.
They were presided over by President Emeritus Patrick Okanya, Apolot Godliver, Excom and Ayub Khalifah Kiyingi USSSA Excom member, Competitions Director Emmanuel Kasakya and Omario Bosco, Director Marketing and communications.
This year’s edition will entail 7 sports disciplines ranging from basketball 3X3, basketball 5X5, handball to football, rugby 7’s, volleyball and netball.
In football, National champion Buddo SS and FEASSA champion Bukedea Comprehensive will look to stamp their dominance from last year from the first kick.
St. Mary’s Kitende returns after a significant hiatus over the past editions since their triple victory in 2019, 2020 and 2022.
With a two year National boys football trophy drought, they will look to build a winning moment once more.
In girls’ football, National champion St. Noa comes with a new look side to try and extend their dominance from last year.
Uganda Martyrs and Kawempe Muslim have been pitted together in group B.
