The Federation of East Africa Schools Sports Association (FEASSA) has officially confirmed the date, venue and time for the 2026 FEASSA Games draws as preparations for the regional championship gather momentum.
The draws will be conducted on Thursday, 6th August 2026, beginning at 2:00pm at the USSSA National Offices in Kampala. The exercise will determine the groupings and fixtures for participating teams ahead of the 2026 FEASSA Games, which will be hosted in Morogoro, Tanzania.
Representatives from FEASSA member countries are expected to take part in the draw, which is a key milestone in the countdown to East Africa’s premier schools’ sporting event. The draw will set the stage for competition across the various disciplines that will feature at this year’s championship.
The confirmation comes as member associations finalize travel arrangements, registration, accreditation and other logistical requirements before departure to Tanzania. Uganda, the reigning overall champions, is among the countries putting the final touches on its preparations for the championship.
The 2026 FEASSA Games are scheduled to bring together the best school teams from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan, providing a platform for young athletes to showcase their talent while strengthening regional integration through sport.
With the draws now confirmed, anticipation continues to build as schools, coaches and athletes await their opponents ahead of what promises to be another exciting edition of the FEASSA Games
