Candidates For USSSA National Executive Committee Confirmed.

The Independent Electoral Commission, led by Joseph Opio Ekodeu, has this evening officially announced the final list of fully nominated candidates for the USSSA National Executive Committee for the term 2026 to 2030.

The USSSA Executive Committee comprises 22 members: 19 elected members, the President Emeritus, the Association of Secondary Schools Headteachers of Uganda representative, and the Chief Executive Officer.

The USSSA National Elections will be held on 1st August 2026 at Front Page Hotel during the 44th Elective General Assembly.

**Justus Mugisha is unopposed for the post of President.**

**Apolot Harriet Margaret is unopposed for the post of First Vice President.**

**Okot P’Bitek is unopposed for the post of Second Vice President.**

**The nominees for the position of Third Vice President.**
