As the school sports calendar kicks off, the rules and regulations for secondary school competitions have been released officially.
The general objective of these rules is to guide the organization and management of secondary school sports competitions.
Further they ensure eligibility criteria for schools and athletes participating in sports, provide detailed direction, set a code of conduct on top of ensuring smooth running of school sports across the country.
The rules were prepared and approved by the department of Physical Education and Sports in conjuction with Association of Secondary Schools Headteachers of Uganda and Uganda Secondary School Sports Association.
How can I register my players?
1. End of period for online registration has to be adjusted upwards, in up country schools wait for official set dates and yet system opens early and closes when school has just opened up.
2. Most transfers in West Nile were not honored as it was especially in central.
