

Seroma Christian High School Ready for National Ball Games I.
The final inspection meeting ahead of Ball Games I was held at Seroma Christian High School in Kyetume, Mukono on Thursday 23rd April.
Uganda Secondary School Sports Association delegation was led by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mugisha Christopher Banage accompanied by Executive committee member and Head of technical Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi, Competitions Director Emmanuel Kasakya, In-charge Finance Asiimwe Ronah and Ddamulira Saidi In-charge of events. Ms. Abalo Grace, Senior Education Officer (department of Physical Education and Sports), Ministry of Physical Education and Sports represented the Commissioner.



The meeting was attended by several members of the Mukono community including the police, medical services and community leaders of Nakisunga and Mukono at large.
Mrs. Kyambadde Ameila, the resident director, Seroma Christian High School was also accompanied by teachers at the school who formed committees that will see that the games are held succesfully . Mrs Kayanja Edith, Headteacher and Barasa Gerald, Deputy Headteacher were also a part of the meeitng.




“These activities are going to take place in four divisions of Mukono district and yes, we are ready to ensure the security of each and everyone. Everyone is welcome to Mukono for these games”. Mugerwa Bernard, Senior Superintendent of Police,DPC Mukono district.
Seroma Christian high school is ready to host the games. The boys will reside at Namilyango College and the girls at Seroma Christian High School.
The other hosts are Hilton High School where capacity building classes will take place while Our Lady of Africa Mukono (OLAM) and Uganda Christian University (UCU) will host several other disciplines.

There are eleven disciplines in which the athletes will participate namely Hockey, Rugby fifteens, Badminton, Table Tennis, Tennis, Basketball 5×5, Basketball 3×3, Football U20 (Girls), Netball, Volleyball and Handball.
Teams are expected to arrive at Seroma on 29th where physical screening will be held and games kick off on 30th April with the opening ceremony on 1st May.
