A consultative meeting has been held ahead of the National Ball games I with representatives from National Sports Federations and associations.
In his opening remarks CEO thanked the federations that provide USSSA with equipment during games namely (but not limited to) Uganda Table Tennis Association, Badminton Uganda and Uganda Aquatics.
The areas of discussion included the following
-Weekend leagues
-Technical support
-Equipment and Logistics
-Secure Equipment for purchase
-Facilities and Infrastructure
-Capacity Building
-Eligibility – data for players
-International engagement
-Scouting for development and Prestige
The meeting chaired by Mugisha Justus, USSSA President

The meeting was attended by Federation presidents and general secretaries of the Uganda Rugby Union, Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations, FUFA, Badminton Uganda, Uganda Volleyball Federation, Uganda Table Tennis association, Netball Uganda, Uganda Hockey Association and Uganda Handball Federation.

The National Ball games I will take place from 29th April to 9th May 2026 at Seroma Christian High School in Mukono while the boys’ football championship will take place from 10th to 20th May at Lira Town College in Lira.
