Schools have arrived at Seroma Christian High School for the National Ball games I 2026.
The games will kick off on 30th April to 8th May across locations in Mukono district.
Hosts Seroma Christian High School (Boys) were drawn in Group B alongside Nyakasura School,Mbarara High School,Ndejje SSS,Lubiri SSS and St.
“These activities are going to take place in four divisions of Mukono district and yes, we are ready to ensure the security of each and everyone. Everyone is welcome to Mukono for these games”. Mugerwa Bernard, Senior Superintendent of Police,DPC Mukono district.

In boys’ football, St Mark HS Kayunga won gold on home ground after beating Mehta SS 1-0 in the final, clinching their first-ever zonal trophy. Seroma CHS finished third and took bronze.
In the girls’ category, Mukono Kings HS won gold after beating Latifah Mixed SS 1-0 in the final. Hopeful Future SS finished third.
The five-day championship featured 48 schools from across the zone, showcasing impressive talent and competitive spirit. The final match saw Masaka SS face off against Kalisizo Seed School, with Masaka SS securing a narrow 1–0 victory to emerge champions once again.
Mentor SS cemented their dynasty in Lango Zone school football this afternoon, beating Trinity College Abilonino 1-0 at Ngai SS to win the 2026 USSSA Boys Championship and claim the zonal trophy permanently after a third consecutive title.
The 2026 Wakiso zone schools sports championship successfully concluded at the Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium found within the WAKISHA Resource center on Tuesday, 14th April 2026.
A mammoth gathering comprising of students, school administrators, teachers, sports enthusiasts, well-wishers and the general public witnessed this climax.
