By John Wycliff Musinguzi Justus Mugisha has been re-elected unopposed as President of the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA)
A total of 95 delegates and 20 outgoing Executive Committee members attended the General Assembly. Of the 115 eligible voters, two were absent, resulting in 113 votes cast.
Most Executive Committee positions were filled unopposed, with only three positions requiring elections:
The association’s highest decision-making meeting has brought together the Executive Committee and 95 delegates from the 19 zones across the country to review the association’s progress, deliberate on its future plans, and elect a new Executive Committee to serve the 2026-2030 term.
The USSSA Executive Committee comprises of 22 members, 19 elected members, President Emeritus, Association of Secondary Schools Headteachers of Uganda representative and the Chief Executive Officer.
The team was selected following the recently concluded USSSA National Swimming Championships held at Seroma Christian High School ON 26th July, where the country’s top secondary school swimmers competed for national honors and places on Team Uganda.
The USSSA National Swimming Gala 2026 has concluded with an impressive display of talent, bringing together 186 swimmers from schools across Uganda in a highly competitive championship.
Participants can download, print and fill the forms ahead of the FEASSA games in Morogoro, Tanzania.
Seroma Christian High School will host the 5th Edition of the USSSA National Swimming Gala, scheduled for 26th July 2026.
